Overview: Baltimore City’s transportation system does not meet the needs of all its residents. Itlacks connections and options for an economically thriving, equitable, andenvironmentally-sustainable region. The system we have is unsafe and unhealthy, causing injury, death, and contributing to cardiorespiratory disease. The status quolimits economic growth, creates barriers to opportunity, ensures long commutes, harms our health, and accelerates the pace of climate change. We can and must do better.
