MDOT MTA Draft Regional Transit Plan (RTP)
The Maryland Metro/Transit Funding Act, passed by the Maryland State Legislature in 2018, requires that MDOT MTA complete the Plan by October 1, 2020 working with the Central Maryland Regional Transit Plan Commission and the public. The Plan will define public transportation goals over the next 25 years, and will address traditional transit (buses and trains) as well as explore new mobility options and technology to meet our region’s transit needs. Although the comment period has closed, we invite you to read the draft Plan along with the comments MDOT MTA has received: Draft Plan with Public Comment

Transportation Funding and Finance State Bill Tracking Database
The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) works in cooperation to bring you up to date, real-time information about transportation funding and finance bills that have been introduced in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. You can search legislation for each year beginning with 2013 by state, topic, keyword, year, status or primary sponsor. New measures are added quarterly by NCSL staff: Searchable Database
