NEW! Recommended Service Improvements and Scenarios!

MTA used your feedback, data analysis, and equity considerations to develop service improvements and network scenarios. Now, we’re sharing route-level recommendations for these service improvements:

Improved frequency on weekdays, weekends, and overnight
New limited-stop service routes
Newand extended routes
Microtransit
Regional bus

We’re showing two different visions of what this additional bus service could look like in the Baltimore region: the Enhanced Frequency Scenario and the Expanded Service Scenario. We’ve also identified other improvement options—including on-demand microtransit and regional bus service—that could complement either scenario.

Explore the recommended service improvements and scenarios and share your feedback by October 18, 2024 to tell us what you think as we work to finalize the BMORE BUS plan.

About BMORE BUS
MTA has launched BMORE BUS, a transit plan for the Baltimore region that will identify bus service improvements that could be possible with expanded resources over the next 10 years. BMORE BUS is guided by the Regional Transit Plan (RTP)—MTA’s 25-year vision for improving public transportation in Central Maryland—as well as public priorities and data analysis. Once complete, BMORE BUS will show a vision for additional bus service in the Baltimore region that MTA could work toward implementing over the next decade.  BMORE BUS will focus on MTA’s core bus service area—which includes service on CityLink, QuickLink, LocalLink, and Express BusLink bus routes—and connections to the broader Central Maryland region as we consider potential service improvements.
Thank you for helping MTA in the effort to improve bus service for the region!
