Presentation: “MTA Capital Needs Inventory Update”

Synopsis:  The 10-year Capital Needs Inventory examines the investment needed to maintain the Maryland Transit Administration’s $14 billon in transit assets including trains, buses, stations, systems, and support facilities. Administrator Holly Arnold will provide an overview of the updated report and the critical transit projects supported by the Moore-Miller Administration’s budget.

PresentationMoving Baltimore Forward: Transportation Priorities for Progress”

Synopsis: Veronica P. McBeth, Director of Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) will share a forward-looking presentation on BCDOT’s goals, priorities, and opportunities. She will outline how BCDOT is leveraging federal funding, improving citywide connectivity through bike and scooter sharing and enhancing locally operated transit options. Key priorities for BCDOT include advancing pedestrian safety, accelerating road repairs and infrastructure upgrades, implementing traffic calming strategies, relaunching the Harbormaster office, kicking off the Inner Harbor Intersection Improvement Project, and continuing to implement a citywide traffic signal retiming initiative to support safer streets for all.
