Presentation: “Leveraging Opportunities and Partnerships for Progress”

Synopsis: Director Corren Johnson will discuss the agency’s current and planned efforts, how they are successfully seizing opportunities, and ways they are building strong partnerships to improve the City’s transportation system.

Presentation: “Paying for Transit – How one Legislator’s Public Health Bill Helped Close the Gap”

Synopsis: Delegate Robbyn Lewis, who represents the 46th District in Baltimore City, serves as Chair of the Subcommittee on Land Use & Ethics in the House Environment & Transportation Committee. She’ll describe how her bill to reduce pedestrian fatalities unexpectedly helped close the state’s transportation funding gap, and opine on the urgency of dedicated funding for transit projects. She will also pitch ideas for the second annual Baltimore Transit Summit, planned for January 2025.
