We are proud to announce our 2025 Campaign titled“A VISION FOR A GREAT REGIONAL TRANSIT SYSTEM” with the debut of our new brochure. In the brochure we make the argument that we can either maintain the status quo or create a new and exciting regional transportation system with long-term funding. Our campaign envisions what such a regional system would look like, and what it would cost to build such a system.
We would like to thank all the key stakeholders who contributed their valuable input and feedback, as this project would not have been possible without it.
Given the significant shortfall in funding the state’s six-year transportation plan, it is critical that we fight for sustainable additional funding in the 2025 Maryland legislative session. We must not accept the status quo by keeping the current state of public transit services as they are, without making significant changes to our infrastructure, funding levels, and major improvements or expansions to the existing system.
In the spirit of partnership and collaboration, Transit Choices is committed to working with Maryland Legislators to find the solutions to secure sustainable funding for a first-rate regional transit system in the Baltimore region and throughout Maryland.
