Synopsis: Michael McDaniel, President and CEO of Harbor Boating, Inc., will share an update on some of the new initiatives underway at Harbor Boating, what the company is working toward next, and where Baltimore’s maritime transportation network may be headed. He’ll also provide a post-event look at Sail250, including what worked, what was learned, and how those lessons may shape future operations and special events. The presentation will wrap up with an open conversation and questions from the Transit Choices group.

Presentation: “Re-imagining Downtown Baltimore: The Downtown Rise Mobility Investment Strategy”
Synopsis: The Downtown Rise Mobility Investment Strategy is the next step in the City’s ongoing Downtown Rise initiative. This 24-month study will examine our downtown networks to make them more walkable, safer, and conducive to floor level retail activation. The final deliverable will be a 5-year capital improvement plan for Baltimore City’s Central Business District that aligns with planned investments from both the private market and the state.
