City Council Candidates Forum: “Leadership for Improving Transportation”
On November 18, 2015, Transit Choices, Citizens Planning & Housing Association, 1000 Friends of Maryland and the Central Maryland Transportation Alliance hosted a City Council Candidates Forum for all candidates running in districts 1-8. The event was held from 8:00 AM -10:00 AM at the Lord Baltimore Hotel, 20 W. Baltimore Street – Baltimore, MD 21201. Marc Steiner (Executive Producer/Host Marc Steiner Show, WEAA), served as moderator.
Events of the past year have made it clear that transportation is critical to improving life for Baltimore City residents and that the City needs leaders to develop and implement strategies for improving it. The comments and ideas shared by the participating Candidates were a step in the right direction.
