The Transit Choices virtual meeting via Zoom was well attended by individuals representing a variety of institutions, organizations, and other groups in the city. This meeting featured an informative presentation from the Baltimore Regional Transit Commission (BRTC) followed by an
interactive and engaging online discussion.

Presentation: “The Central Maryland Regional Transit Plan: 2025 Update and the View from the Baltimore Regional Transit Commission”
Synopsis: October marks the release of the 2025 Update to the Central Maryland Regional Transit Plan (RTP). First issued in 2020, the RTP is a 25-year plan for improving public transportation in Central Maryland (Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Harford County, and Howard County). The 2025 Update was recently approved by the Baltimore Regional Transit Commission, as required by state law. Commission Chair Jon Laria and MTA’s Liz Gordon will review important aspects of the BRTC’s review and approval process, as well as the RTP itself.
